June 2024

  • First introduction to the KGV AI Tutor Project.
  • Initial consultation with King George V School’s team to gather and clarify their specific needs and expectations for the project.

September 2024

  • Presented design concepts and proposed functionalities to KGV, seeking additional project clarification.
  • Developed a detailed project roadmap and initiated the creation of a dedicated project website.

October 2024

  • Deliverables of Phase 1:

October 2024

  • Execute a comprehensive research phase, encompassing an in-depth literature review and the formulation of a targeted technological stack.
  • Initiate the preliminary development cycle, focusing on core system components, like the LLM-RAG, etc.

  • Continue system development:
    • Targets: Reinforcement learning section
  • Refine the user interface, incorporating an interactive exercise module.

December 2024

  • Continue system development:
    • Targets: Security measures, refine the system and user interface.
  • Conduct initial alpha testing with a select cohort of students.

January 2025

  • First presentation.

    • Preliminary implementation
    • Detailed interim report

February 2025

  • Continue system development:
    • Targets: report generation features for teachers

  • Finish core system & layout of the product.
  • Write final report.
  • Create documentation for teachers & students.
